Privacy policy

General information

The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. Personal data is any data that personally identifies you. We treat your personal usage data confidentially and in accordance with the data protection regulations and this privacy policy. The following notes give a simple overview of what happens to your personal information when you visit our website. Should offers from third parties be accessible from our offer via links (hyperlinks), this notice does not affect these linked offers.

The use of our website is usually possible without an indication of personal data. Different regulations may apply to the use of individual services on our site, which will be explained separately below. This data is used by us to ensure that the website is error-free and to make our service as pleasant as and enjoyable as possible for you.

Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address, telephone number, e-mail, etc.) is collected on our pages, this is, as far as possible, always done on a voluntary basis. If you choose to provide us with personal information over the internet, so that e.g. correspondence can be handled or an order can be executed, this data will be handled carefully in accordance with the strict provisions of the German data protection law and will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. The data stored by us will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and there are no legal obligations to retain them.

We expressly point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) has security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is therefore not possible.

Note to the responsible entity

The responsible data processing entity on this website is:
Hermann Schalk
Schwalbenweg 8
D-82407 Wielenbach

Phone: +49 (0)881 41502
Email: office@sport-fuer-einen-guten-zweck.de

Responsible entity is the natural or legal person who, alone or together with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (such as names, e-mail addresses, etc.).

Right to information, correction, revocation, blocking and deletion

You have the right at any time to free information about the collection, processing or purpose of the data processing of your stored personal data, as well as a right to rectification, blocking or deletion of such data, should this claim not be contrary to any legal retention obligation. For this purpose, send an informal message by e-mail to us or you can request or delete your personal data via the following links:

Please understand that in the event of revocation, the personalized service can no longer be provided because it is based on the use of customer data.

For any questions about personal data, you can always contact us at the address given in the imprint.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a standardized, machine-readable format. If you require direct data transfer to another responsible party, this will only be done if technically feasible.

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in a way, you can complain to the relevant supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority for data protection issues is the data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. A list of the data protection officers and their contact details can be found under the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Security

Your data is protected by technical and organizational measures against unauthorized processing, destruction, alteration or loss. For this purpose, the site operator saves your data on specially protected servers. Access to it is only possible for a few persons authorized by the site operator, who are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of these servers.

SSL encryption

For reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential data, such as orders or requests that you submit to us as a site operator, this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in front of the address line and by the fact that the browser address line starts with “https://” instead of “http://”. If SSL encryption is enabled, the data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Cookies

We sometimes use so-called cookies on our website. These are small text files that are sent from the server to your Internet browser and temporarily stored on your device. Cookies do not contain viruses and do not damage your device. They contain no personal information and allow us to analyze your use of our Internet presence to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure.

Most of these are so-called “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to automatically recognize your Internet browser the next time you visit our website.

Cookies required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions desired by you (e.g., commentary, shopping cart function, etc.) are, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR saved. We have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of our services. If other cookies (such as cookies for analyzing your browsing behavior) are stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

You can set your Internet browser to prevent the installation of cookies and enable the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. We point out, however, that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Server log files

For technical reasons, every time you visit our website, our web space provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your internet browser automatically sends to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
  • Website you visit
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request
  • Dwell time of the user
  • IP address of the user

This data is anonymous, is stored separately from any personal information you may provide, and thus cannot be associated with a specific person. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to technically optimize our internet presence. The basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or precontractual measures. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data, if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.

Further storage of personal data only takes place if you expressly communicate to us as desired. You can send this information to us, for example, in the context of information requests and competitions.

Online forms

If you contact us by e-mail or through our online forms, the information you provide, including the contact information provided by you, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. These data will not be shared with third parties without your consent. A comparison of this data with data that may be collected in other ways on our site will also not take place.

The processing of the data entered in the online forms is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal e-mail notification to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it or revoke your consent to its storage, if there is no legal obligation to retain it. Data, which is absolutely necessary for an order processing or for commercial purposes, is not affected by a cancellation or deletion.

Contradiction advertising emails

The use of contact information published within the framework of the imprint obligation by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly excluded. The operator of this website expressly reserves the right to take legal action in the event mailing or e-mailing of unsolicited promotional information, such as spam e-mails.

Integration of services and contents of third parties

It may happen that contents of third parties, such as graphics, fonts or videos from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always assumes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party provider”) perceive the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content.

We strive to use only contents, whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party provider stores the IP address e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as this is known to us, we inform the users about it.

The use of the services and content of third parties is based on our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offering) within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The following presentation provides an overview of third-party providers as well as their contents and links to their privacy statements, which contain further information on the processing of data and the possibility of objections (so-called opt-out).

Use of social media buttons with Shariff

We use the c’t project Shariff on our website. Shariff replaces the usual social network share buttons, thereby protecting surfing behavior.

Shariff integrates these social network share buttons on our website only as graphics, which contain a link to the corresponding social network. By clicking on the corresponding graphic, you will be redirected to the services of the respective network. The Shariff button does not establish direct contact between the social network and our visitors until the visitor actively clicks on the share button, or only then will your data be transmitted to the respective social network. If the Shariff button is not clicked on, there will be no exchange between you and the social networks. More information about the c’t project “Shariff” can be found at http://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Shariff-Social-Media-Buttons-mit-Datenschutz-2467514.html

We integrate the following social networks with Shariff on our website:

Facebook, Xing, Twitter, AddThis.

Use of Google Maps

On our website, we use the “Google Maps” component of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow Street, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland, hereafter “Google”. Google Maps is used for the purpose of presenting our online services in an appealing manner and to make it easy to find the places we have indicated on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google sets a cookie each time the “Google Maps” component is accessed in order to process user settings and data when the page on which the “Google Maps” component is integrated is displayed. This cookie is usually not deleted by closing the browser, but expires after a certain time, unless it is manually deleted by you. In addition, it is necessary to store your IP address in order to use the functions of Google Maps.

This information is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The provider of this page has no influence on this data transfer. If you disagree with the processing of your data, you may disable the “Google Maps” service and prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do this, you must disable the Java Script feature in your browser. Please be aware that in this case you will not be able to use the “Google Maps” or only to a limited extent.

The use of “Google Maps” and information obtained through “Google Maps” is subject to the Google Terms of Use http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/terms/regional.html and the additional terms and conditions for “Google Maps” https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/help/terms_maps.html.

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change the privacy policy in order to adapt it to changing legal situations, or in the event of changes to the service or data processing. However, this only applies to declarations of data processing. If users’ consent is required or if elements of the privacy policy contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes are only made with the consent of the users. Users are requested to inform themselves regularly about the content of the privacy policy.
